Titanium Brompton Front Carrier Block

An ultralight front carrier block for the Brompton made of titanium with a reinforcing collar to prevent broken bolts from potentially overloading the front carrier block by carrying more than 10kg.

The Titanium Front Carrier Block weights without bolts for securing to the frame:

• C line = 71g
• T line = 78g 
• G line = 78g

I will supply the blocks with steel screws to fix to the frame. You will need to apply blue threadlocker on the screws into the headtube which is not included! The bolts should be torqued to 4Nm. It does not need to be very tight to stay in place, the loctite once cured will prevent the bolts from backing out.

A few more installation tips:

• You might need to remove the bag clip to install the lower bolt but you can loosen it and turn it to the side.
• I also include an extra bag clip in case the first once breaks. They are quite durable but could become brittle in very cold weather. 
• The rear collar can be fit without removing the stem or any other parts, you can slightly bend it open to get it around the headtube and it will spring back.

*Note each block is hand finished and there will be cosmetic imperfections from scuffs and small scratches but the condition will be similar to the pictures.
